Smoke Those "Tires"

I decided to wait a while for my FOX Sports NASCAR dope head coverage. So here it goes, hope the wait was worth the time.

We got a few things that jump out right away. Digger. Gotta love him but lets break it down. Its a cartoon in pre-race coverage. It not very entertaining, probably meant to lure children in like a cigarette company, but really its target audience is the puff puff pass crowd. I mean, he's a gopher that is a renegade NASCAR fan. I think all reefer addicts can feel a deep connection with Digger. All they want to do is enjoy the race but constantly on gaurd that "the man" might come bust down their door. But on a less complex level its a cartoon and we all know how much stoners love cartoons.

Secondly, actual race coverage, FOX has the "Crank it Up." This is a clear focus on those who really want an overload of there sensory system. Joe-pot-pack is sittin there blazed out of his skull, mind wandering, then suddenly boom, CRANK IT UP. All of a sudden its got your short attention again and all it is is loud noises coming from your television screen. You cannot honestly tell me that the green gazers aren't going to love them up some NASCAR noise.

Though this has been a focus on those who partake in the illegals in this country it really can work for those who are just fall down drunk retarded. I mean, the rest of NASCAR fans. So really, good job FOX, you critically determined your viewership and gave them exactly what they want. All they really need to do now is add some way of promoting snack food to their viewers, *cough* Kyle Busch's entire car *cough*.

My picks for Phoenix International Raceway:

Jimmie Johnson (no real gamble there)

Wild Card: I'm a little on the fence here but I'll go with Kyle again. He really needs a win and he's done it here before.
